The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring concerts were a tremendous success in the summer of 2013 and the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra, like Frodo Baggins and his now-disbanded Fellowship, is compelled to continue the journey.
Middle-earth comes back to Singapore in 2014 with The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, the second instalment of Peter Jackson’s epic film trilogy based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings novels. This highly-anticipated production will once again allow audiences to relive the awesome experience of immersing themselves in the full-length Academy Award-winning motion picture projected on a giant cinematic screen complete with original dialogue and sound effects, while Howard Shore’s iconic score is performed live by the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra and the Vocal Associates Festival Chorus and Children’s Choir.
